About Our Client

They provide blasting solutions and quality explosives products to customers in many parts of the world, playing an important role in supporting the extraction of the minerals required to meet the worlds demand for energy, infrastructure and consumer goods.
What You Will Be Doing
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be a key member of the team which is vital to keeping the plant reliable and operating at optimum performance. You will be required to resolve operating issues as they arise utilising consultative methods across various site departments.
As a valuable member of the team, you will:
- Collect samples and carry out basic analysis
- Maintain a shift log that records key elements of the plant status, process parameters and equipment availability
- Participate in safety initiatives and continuous improvement
- You will monitor plant condition and intervene if necessary
- Participate in execution of start-up and shutdown of plant when required
What You Will Need
You will demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm for developing new skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team as well as autonomously with minimal supervision. You will be committed to safety and quality, show strong attention to detail, and possess proven problem-solving skills.
- Current Forklift Licence or willingness to obtain
- Previous labouring, production, or similar experience
- Current Drivers Licence
- Willingness to complete a police check and obtain an SSAN
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen
- Capacity to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment
