About the Client
The client is a well-established Western Australian home builder with over 15 years of experience, recognised for award-winning custom designs and a strong commitment to personalised service and quality craftsmanship throughout the South West region.
About the Role
This is a full-time Estimator position based in Bunbury, responsible for both sales and production estimating for new residential builds. You will play a key role in costing, tendering, and stakeholder engagement while using industry-standard tools and systems. This position offers exposure to a broad range of projects and a chance to be part of a collaborative and experienced team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities and cost breakdowns from construction plans
- Support tender preparation and submissions for new build projects
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing and negotiate best-value outcomes
- Collaborate with Sales and Construction teams to manage cost variations
- Use Click Homes to monitor construction progress and update tasks
- Provide estimating support for display home builds as required
- Maintain supplier relationships and assist with minor negotiations
- Promote and adhere to safe work practices and procedures
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum 12 months experience in residential estimating
- Prior exposure to residential construction in Western Australia
- Proficiency in Blue Beam, Excel, Word, Costing Manager, Data Build & Adobe
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Open to candidates with a scheduling background
