About the Role
We are seeking an Events Coordinator to join our team at Dampier. The successful candidate you will plan, organize, and oversee a variety of business, promotional, and social events. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, youll ensure the smooth execution of events that align with our strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop event concepts from briefs and present to stakeholders for alignment
- Coordinate community events and internal milestone celebrations
- Manage events end-to-end, ensuring seamless execution
- Conduct risk assessments with HSE representatives as needed
- Oversee communications and perform post-event reviews
- Ensure compliance with RTIO safety standards and protocols
- Manage budgets, raise Purchase Orders, and ensure timely vendor payments
- Collaborate with stakeholders through regular communication and meetings
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven knowledge and experience in event coordination and planning
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Self-managed, proactive, and solution-focused approach
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Current C Class WA Manual Drivers Licence
