About our client
Our client not only supplies quality nets, but they design, manufacture and install frames, goals and other support structures in-house. Using the strongest materials possible to complete each project, their capabilities include steel and aluminium welding, rope work, shadecloth and PVC fabrics, wire cables and webbing. They have a wide range of stock items and can also design a custom solution for your business using our advanced turnkey systems.
What you will be doing
Due to rapid growth, our client is now seeking a Fabricator/Installer to join their business on a permanent basis out of their workshop in O'Connor, Perth. Working on a variety of projects within the Mining, Oil & Gas, Marine & Aquaculture and Sports & Leisure industries, the successful candidate will be required to work from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday and complete the following duties:
Fabrication & Welding:
- Grinding, cutting, welding, and assembling metal components for netting systems
- Preparing fabricated items for installation
Installation Support:
- Assisting with installing nets, posts, and other structural components
- Digging, lifting, and general labour as required
All-Round Duties:
- Must be willing to perform both fabrication and on-site installation tasks as required
- Support team members in achieving safe and efficient site work
Safety & Compliance:
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures
- Follow clients' standard operating procedures and site protocols
What you will need
- Drivers Licence + reliable transport
- Proven welding or fabrication experience
- Prior experience performing labouring, installation or site-based works
- Additional tickets: white card, working at heights, confined spaces, EWP (desirable not mandatory)
- Physically fit
- Ability to multitask and work within a team environment
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, Drug & Alcohol Screening and National Police Clearance
