About our client
Our client is the original supplier of steel reinforcement to the Australian construction industry. Proudly Australian since 1920, all of their steel products remain 100% Australian made with international quality assurance and compliance with Australian standards.
About the role
Our client is currently seeking a factory labour/forklift operator to join their team in Bundamba (QLD). The successful candidate will be required to work Monday Friday, from 8am to 4pm and be responsible for the following duties;
- Manual handling of steel products
- Manual handling of pallets
- Stacking products onto pallet
- Forklift operation
The successful candidate will be trained up on these machines and will also be required to pass a drug and alcohol screening.
What you will need
- Drivers licence/reliable transport
- Forklift licence
- Mechanical aptitude
- Previous experience in production or manufacturing
- Ability to pass a PEM/D&A
