About the Client:

Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety, and environmental performance.
About the Role:
WorkPac is currently in search of a Hydrogeologist to join our esteemed client's team, based in the Pilbara. This position is on a FIFO 8:6 roster from Perth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise drilling, installation, and testing of water supply, dewatering, and groundwater monitoring infrastructure.
- Ensure hydrogeological investigations and data capture adhere to scientific methods and best practices.
- Collaborate with Hydrogeology Hub to design and scope field investigations.
- Maintain and care for field equipment to ensure safe and efficient data collection.
- Summarize and interpret hydrogeological data for project reporting and recommendations.
- Provide constructive feedback to contract partners and CMS representatives.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and safe team culture.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and standardization in field programs.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Hydrogeology, Geoscience, or a related field.
- Experience in hydrogeological field investigations and data management.
- Strong knowledge of water bore construction requirements and mining site protocols.
- Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork skills.
- Valid C Class drivers license and relevant mine site 4WD training.
