About Our Client:
Our client is a Western Australian government organisation responsible for supporting and developing the states primary industries and regional communities. They play a key role in driving economic growth, sustainability, and innovation across sectors such as agriculture, fisheries, and regional development.
What You Will Be Doing:
In this role, you will carry out field-based surveillance and monitoring activities across aquatic and coastal environments, environmental data collection, and accurate reporting of findings. You will work both independently and within a team to support environmental and biosecurity objectives, while operating safely in outdoor conditions and following established procedures.
What You Will Need:
- Current Drivers Licence (mandatory)
- Ability to pass a basic medical clearance (LABDAS)
- Full working rights in Australia
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Commitment to following safety, environmental, and biosecurity procedures
- Experience or interest in aquaculture, marine science, or environmental field work (highly regarded but NOT essential)
