About Our Client

Our client is a leading provider of electrical and instrumentation services to major mining, infrastructure, and resource projects across Australia. With a strong commitment to safety, quality, and project delivery, they continue to support some of the country's largest mining operations.

 

What You Will Be Doing

Working on a major project at BHP Olympic Dam, you will be responsible for supporting electrical and instrumentation construction activities within a mining environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Electrical installation and construction activities across site
  • Cable installation, termination, and commissioning works
  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting where required
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures
  • Working closely with project teams to achieve project milestones
  • Maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements

 

What You Will Need

  • Current SA Electrical Licence
  • Current White Card
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Current CPR/LVR (completed within the last 12 months)
  • National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months
  • Previous experience in mining, construction, or industrial project environments
  • Ability to work a FIFO 2/1 roster on 12-hour shifts
  • Highly Regarded:
    • Working at Heights
    • EWP Above 11m
