FIFO Formwork Carpenter

• $58 per hour
• Day Shifts only
• 19:9, 2:1 or 3:1 roster

WorkPac are currently seeking FIFO Formwork Carpenters on a 19:9, 2:1 or 3:1 roster, 12hr Day Shifts only, $58 per hour. FIFO from Perth however, Interstate candidates are welcome to apply, while travel is at the candidates expense, a travel allowance will be paid.

About our client

Our client is a civil construction and maintenance specialist with more than 45 years of combined industry experience. Our client is known for their practical expertise and commitment to safe, efficient delivery, they provide cost-effective, innovative solutions for mining, infrastructure and construction clients nationwide.

What you will be doing

• Read and interpret plans, set out work areas, and regularly check heights and levels using laser levels, dumpy levels and string lines.
• Build, install and brace formwork/shutters for walls, columns and slabs, including erecting vertical supports and inserting stakes.
• Cut, measure and pre-assemble timber components, then carry and position them on site.
• Assist with earthworks, light excavation, and preparing work areas (cleaning, vacuuming, setting up benches and equipment).
• Load/unload materials, operate basic machinery, and dog loads while working with crane operators.
• Support concreting activities such as placing steel, tying mesh, taping poly, and assisting during pours (vibrating, raking, levelling).
• Maintain tools, tag electrical equipment, and help with general site housekeeping.

What you will need

• Trade Certificate
• Current Drivers Licence
• National Police Clearance
• Previous Construction experience
• Dogman & Scaffolder Tickets (advantage)
