About the Client
Our client is a proudly Western Australian owned and operated company delivering comprehensive High Voltage and Low Voltage electrical, communications, and renewable energy solutions. Our client has built a strong reputation across the WA power industry, specialising in the construction, commissioning, and maintenance of overhead and underground distribution and transmission powerlines, particularly within the mining sector. Their capabilities also include project management, shutdown services, and rapid emergency breakdown response.
What You Will Be Doing:
This role involves providing instrumentation electrical support across installation, testing, commissioning and hazardous area compliance activities on major WA energy and mining sites.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Installation and termination of field instruments, control valves, and instrumentation systems
- Installation of tubing, fittings, and pressure testing
- Calibration, loop checking, and functional testing of instrumentation systems
- Supporting hazardous area instrumentation inspections, compliance, and maintenance
- Assisting commissioning and start-up activities
- Ensuring all work meets safety, compliance, and quality standards
What You Will Need:
- Current unrestricted WA Electricians Licence
- Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas
- Evidence of completed UEEHA units, including:
- UEEHA0001 Detailed inspection UEEHA0004 Enter and work in hazardous areas
- UEEHA0005 Install explosion-protected equipment
- UEEHA0006 Maintain hazardous area equipment
- White Card
- Updated Resume
- FIFO Project Experience
- Full Australian Working Rights
- CPR/ LVR
