Processing Operator - Fixed Plant
- Residential Role
- Roster is 4:4 (2 DAYS/2 NIGHTS) 12 hr shifts.
About our client:
Rio Tinto operates the worlds largest integrated portfolio of iron ore assets. These assets include a world-class, integrated network of 15 iron ore mines, four port facilities, a 1,700 kilometre rail network and related infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Housekeeping of equipment.
- Responding to product blockages.
- Reporting any defects to the supervisor for maintenance inspections.
- Temperature and condition-based monitoring of assets.
- Ensuring the system is producing at its highest potential.
- Regular monitoring and equipment care routes.
What you will need:
- Previous mining experience within fixed plant operations.
- Skills with loader operation, skid steer, ship loader operations, and crushing experience.
- Strong understanding of fixed plant operations and maintenance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety and teamwork.
