What You Will Be Doing
In the role of Fleet Officer, you will play a key role in supporting our organizations fleet management functions. This position focuses on ensuring smooth operations through efficient system management, process coordination, and staff training. You will apply your expertise to the development and maintenance of an effective Fleet Management Framework to guide the life-cycle of fleet and heavy plant, from procurement and leasing, to operational management, and disposal, prioritising efficiency and sustainability. You will also manage the development and implementation of the Fleet and Plant Replacement Program, to ensure our vehicles are fit for purpose and meet operational needs.
This position will also provide administrative support and advice for procurement functions, working closely with our Procurement Officer to facilitate and maintain procurement processes, records and tools. Your ability to juggle multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and stay organised will ensure your success in this role.

- Demonstrated experience in a procurement or fleet role (or similar) and associated administrative tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Strong teamwork skills, demonstrating the ability to collaborate and contribute to a positive team environment
- High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Minimum C/C-A class drivers licence
- Experience in fleet management, and knowledge of tender management systems, and government procurement processes will be highly regarded.
