About the Role::
Our client, Australias leading independent manufacturer and supplier of concrete reinforcing products to the building and construction industry, is seeking experienced Gantry Crane Operators to join their expanding team in Wacol. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a company that is at the forefront of innovative steel reinforcement solutions and technology, offering stable employment and career progression.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Safely and efficiently operate gantry cranes and Forklifts.
- Handle the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring safe transport of materials.
- Conduct prestart checks on all plant and equipment to ensure they are operationally ready.
- Maintain high-quality standards and consistent production output.
- Set up machines and apply quality control inspections during crane operation.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace in accordance with safety protocols.
What You Will Need:
- Proven experience operating gantry cranes and machinery.
- Experience in loading trucks and handling materials.
- Background in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Current HRW or CB
- A safety-conscious attitude with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
- Excellent communication skills.
