About the Role:

WorkPac, on behalf of our client Rio Tinto, is seeking a Geologist for an exciting opportunity at Winu. This 2/2 FIFO role is ideal for an early-career Geologist eager to gain experience in the field. Were looking for a passionate professional with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, capable of coordinating all aspects of the project seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Plan and design drill programs for risk management in resources and reserves
• Logging RC and Diamond Drilling samples
• Undertake field interactions with contract partners.
• Manage and oversee the collection and interpretation of data.
• Ensure sampling and quality control of geological data is maintained to a high standard.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Tertiary qualification in Geology
• Previous exposure to a FIFO and field-based role preferable
• Experience with Copper exploration
• C Class drivers licence
• First Aid Certificate
• Experience with software programmes such as Leapfrog, ArcGIS and AcQuire desirable
