About the Client:

About the Role:
WorkPac is currently in search of an Advisor - Government Approvals to join our esteemed client's team, based in Perth. This position is Monday to Friday for a 1-to-2-year duration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the team in obtaining approvals under environmental and mining laws (Environmental Protection Act, Rights in Water and Irrigation Act, Mining Act).
- Collaborate with Business Partners and Consultants to collect key information needed for approval submissions.
- Prepare and submit detailed approval documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
- Engage with government agencies and participate in meetings to help secure approvals.
- Provide advice on regulatory approvals to internal teams in operations and development.
- Manage a high volume of tasks and ensure deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant environmental legislation and regulations.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong understanding of environmental and mining legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience working collaboratively and engaging with regulators.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience in environmental approvals or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Excel.
