About Our Client
Middlemount Mine is an open-cut mine located approximately 90km north-east of Emerald and some 7km west of the township of Middlemount in Queensland's Bowen Basin. The mine produces semi-hard coking coal and medium-volatile pulverized coal injection (PCI) coal for the export market. Mining operations consist primarily of excavator and truck and excavator mining augmented by blast casting and dozing.
What you will be Doing
You will be working as a Dump Truck Operator on a coal mine in Middlemount. You will be required to safely operate CAT 789, 793 & 794 Dump Trucks within a production mining environment. In this role you will be working 12.5 hour shifts on a Wednesday to Tuesday rotating day and night shift roster. These roles are available to candidates who are residential (Middlemount), DIDO or BIBO (Mackay, Rockhampton, Bundaberg).
What you will need
- Experience operating Dump Trucks (789, 793, 794) within a production environment.
- You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.
- SSE signed skills list, Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia
