Our client is an Australian-based technology company specialising in innovative dual-fuel solutions for the mining industry. Their technology helps mining companies reduce diesel consumption, operating costs and emissions while maintaining the performance of heavy haul truck fleets. With a strong focus on innovation, safety and sustainability, they work closely with mining operators, equipment manufacturers and fuel suppliers to deliver practical energy solutions for the resources sector.

What You Will Be Doing

As an Auto Electrician / Diesel Fitter you will be responsible for the below duties:

• Maintain large engines and vehicles, including parts ordering
• Maintain and complete housekeeping of the test cell and dyno
• Support the Workshop Supervisor across the workshop, test cell and yard
• Provide large engine mechanical expertise to the engineering team
• Provide auto electrical expertise and practical solutions to the engineering team

What You Will Need

To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:

• Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician and Diesel Fitter
• Experience working with large engines and auto electrical systems
• Gas fitting experience on vehicles is preferred
• Experience operating a forklift
• Experience using Microsoft Office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
