About Our Client
Our client aims to protect person, property and the environment through the delivery of emergency services, awareness programs, response capability and capacity (preparedness), and incident response and recovery for a safer Queensland.
About the Role
You will be working in a workshop based in Yatala alongside other Mechanics. Your duties can include -
- Service and maintain fire appliances and related equipment
- Repair firefighting and pumping systems to manufacturer standards
- Use hand tools, special tools, and diagnostic equipment safely
- Always follow WHS procedures
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Use computers to update job sheets and parts records
- Work as part of a team and complete required training
- Report on equipment condition to the Workshop Supervisor
Shift Structure
Monday to Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm
Requirements
- MR Drivers Licence + reliable transport
- Trade qualification Mechanic/Heavy Motor Mechanic
- 2 years of experience in above duties
