About our Client
We are one of Australia's foremost Recycle Metal facilities which has grown to be the leading collector, processor and supplier of recycled metal in Australia
What you will be doing
- Operating the HR Truck: The primary duty is to drive a heavy rigid truck safely and efficiently. This involves navigating scheduled routes to collect scrap metal or deliver it to processing and recycling facilities.
- Ensuring Load Integrity: Youll be responsible for securing heavy metal loads, making sure that cargo is properly balanced and safely transported according to road and industry regulations.
- Loading and Unloading: With the forklift licence, youre equipped to handle heavy containers or bins. This includes loading scrap metal onto the truck at the collection site and unloading it at the facility, which is particularly useful for managing bulk materials or awkward loads.
- Site Logistics: Your forklift skills can also be critical in organizing the yard, moving materials between storage areas, and assisting with the overall sorting and segregation of metals if required.
