Short Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administration Officer to join our Southern Region team. This role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
About Our Client:

About the Position:
As an Administration Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Processing billing functions and reconciliation for commercial, industrial, and construction & demolition projects
- Preparing and managing quotations, maintaining price lists
- Entering run sheet data from drivers into the system
- Distributing run sheets to relevant personnel
- Handling internal and external queries as needed
- Performing other basic administrative duties as required
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Accurate data entry and validation for payroll and contingent workforce
- Revenue capture and job costing for customer invoicing
- Purchasing and cost capture
- Maintaining training records
- Providing plant maintenance administrative support
- Assisting with accounts payable
- Document handling and archiving
- General office and administrative support tasks, including stationery and PPE orders
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous administrative experience is essential
- Proficiency in spreadsheet applications; exposure to Google/G Suite is desirable
- Experience in payroll and data entry is advantageous
- Purchasing experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle constructive criticism and adapt to new processes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Must be a team player, have a sense of humour and able to maintain friendly, supportive working relationships with other personnel
- Keen attention to detail
- Able to take the initiative and problem solve
- Must be able to handle constructive criticism and have the ability to learn/ grow from mistakes
- Able to learn new systems and adapt to new processes in line with continuous improvement initiatives
- Must have good communication skills (phone/ facetime in particular) and be able to work with different personalities. This role sits within a team of 12 Site Admin and requires regular interactions with Admin, Operators, Supervisors and Managers and other departments in various locations throughout the state.
