About our client:
Our Client is a key player in South Australias energy industryas the states sole electricity distributor. They build, maintain and upgrade the poles, wires and substations that deliver power to around 900,000 homes and businesses.
What you will be doing:
In this role, youll report to the Team Leader or Supervisor and contribute to the construction of electrical infrastructure for substation and renewable projects, focusing on transmission and distribution systems. The position involves working 10-hour days on an 11:3 roster, which may vary. Travel throughout Regional South Australia, including areas such as Port Pirie and Whyalla, may also be required at times.
What you will need :
- Experience as a Heavy Industrial Electrician
- Exposure to installation of high voltage equipment and systems (highly desirable)
- Experience in construction of substations and/or renewable projects is highly advantageous
- Must be able to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Current SA Electrical Trade Certificate or Current SA Electrical worker registration
- Current South Australian Drivers Licence
- Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol Testing
