- $47.50 per hour + penalties
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Location: Wetherill Park
About Our Client
Our client is a leading manufacturer within the industrial and heavy-equipment sector, specialising in the production of heavy-duty garbage equipment . They are committed to high-quality workmanship, safety, and meeting production targets, offering a stable role within a well-run workshop environment.
What You Will Be Doing
- Preparing metal surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and degreasing to ensure proper paint adhesion
- Mixing and matching paints, primers, and protective coatings to specified colour and performance standards
- Applying paint and coatings to metal chassis, bodies, and components using conventional or airless spray equipment
- Operating paint booths, spray guns, compressors, and related equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspecting finished surfaces for quality, coverage, thickness, and defects, completing touch-ups where required
- Cleaning and maintaining painting tools, equipment, and work areas, including safe chemical disposal
- Following job specifications, work orders, and production schedules
- Adhering strictly to WHS requirements, including PPE, respirators, ventilation, and hazardous materials handling
- Assisting with packaging or staging finished components for delivery or assembly when required
What You Will Need
- Trade Certificate in Painting
- Proven industrial or spray painting experience
- White Card
- Current drivers licence
- Forklift licence preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
