About our client

Our client are seeking a Junior Storeperson to join our clients warehouse team in Tamworth. This casual position is suited to a motivated young person (18 years old or under) who is eager to learn and develop hands-on skills within a warehouse environment. The role is based in the Tamworth area, working Monday to Friday.

What you will be doing

• Learning to use warehouse management systems and inventory tracking
• Supporting stock control, stocktaking, and equipment dispatch
• Assisting with forklift operation and vehicle loading/unloading (training provided)
• Following all safety procedures and working as part of a great team
• Carrying out physical stock management, including cycle counts and the receipt, storing and dispatch of goods
• Undertaking administrative duties as required for the warehouse operations

What you will need

• Must be 18 years old or under
• Current drivers licence or reliable way to get to and from work
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Good organisational skills and the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
