WorkPac is now hiring labourers to join the clarification team on site. Candidates with a high tolerance to heat and experience in industry labouring role will only be considered.

ABOUT OUR CLIENT?

Our client is Australia's second largest aluminum smelter located approximately 20 kilometers southeast of Gladstone at Boyne Island on the Central Queensland coast. Our clients exceptional manufacturing practices, strong safety & health culture, and their focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence is renowned in the industry.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?

With a desire to learn, you will be working 12-hour shifts on a lifestyle day shift only roster. These roles are estimated to go for approx. 2 months with possibility of extension and are available for Gladstone and surrounding suburb residents only.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED?

• Experience working in a labour-intensive role in hot environment.
• Current 3 Site Medical (blue) - or willing to obtain one
• Drivers Licence required with own transport & right to work in Australia
• A demonstrated commitment to safety
• Ability to work with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills
• Desire and ability to function effectively as part of a small team, and to autonomously manage your workload
