About Our Client
Our Client is a well-established civil construction contractor delivering quality outcomes across residential and infrastructure projects in the Mackay region. Known for their strong safety culture, skilled workforce, and reliable project delivery, Our Client provides a supportive and professional working environment.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Leading Hand, you will be responsible for supervising operators and trade assistants on site, coordinating daily activities, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification. The role will also involve operating machinery when required, monitoring performance and safety standards, and working closely with site supervision to meet project timelines.
What You Will Need
- Previous experience as a Leading Hand or similar supervisory role
- Excavator, Loader, and Roller tickets (required)
- White Card
- Strong leadership, communication, and safety awareness
- Ability to monitor productivity and site performance
