About the Client
From roads and rail to bridges and ports, our client has excellent bulk earthworks and infrastructure development capability. Their expertise has been employed to build a diverse range of projects from power stations, processing plants, wharves, and industrial subdivisions across Australia. They are currently seeking a Leading Hand to join their subdivision project in Yarrabilba.
What you will be doing
You will be working Monday to Friday, 9/10hour shifts and as the Leading Hand, you will be managing a small crew of 5 across a large sub division project, based in Yarrabilba. You will be responsible for liaising with the site Supervisor for an overview of the daily tasks and delegating this workload within the crew whilst assisting them. To be successful in this role you must have an extensive background in the Civil Construction industry and must have recent experience in a similar role.
What you will need
- Construction white card
- A minimum of six months experience as a Leading Hand in the civil sector
- Previous experience across sub division projects including earthworks and concreting experience
- Machinery tickets highly desirable but not essential
- Strong communication skills
- Available for an immediate start and able to commit to a long term project
