Production Machine Operator

Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer and distributor specialising in a wide range of industrial products, including pipe systems, electrical conduit, industrial hoses and underground cable protection. With a strong national footprint and over 50 years in operation, they have built a solid reputation for delivering high-quality, locally manufactured solutions across various sectors such as mining, civil, construction, and agriculture.

What You Will Be Doing

As a machine operator you will be required to work Monday to Friday 5am-2pm. You will be responsible for: 

• Conducting prestart checks on all plant and equipment
• Picking and assembling associated building accessories
• Forklift operations
• Fill coil bays of raw materials /around machines
• Fill tie wire stands at machines
• Operating loading PCs and RF scanners
• Emptys steel scrap bins and assists in scrap recovery off machines
• Operating various production machinery to bend, cut and measure materials
• Ensuring your workspace is well maintained

You will be trained on how to use the machines. The only pre-requisite for this role is you must have some form of mechanical aptitude wanting to pursue a career in production/manufacturing.

What You Will Need: 

• Drivers Licence and Reliable Transport
• Forklift licence LF
• Able to follow directions and instructions
• Promote a strong Safety culture
• Previous experience in production or manufacturing
• Mechanical aptitude
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
