About our client
For the last60+ years our client has been manufacturing and suppling PVC pipes, composite hoses, steel reo, ventilation and ducting to various industries throughout Australia. They are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join their team in an ongoing temp to permanent position in Pinkenba.
What you will be doing
As a Machine Operator your will be responsible for operating steel bending machines and required for setting up machines, quality checks, loading materials on and off the machines and general workplace cleanliness and organisation. You will be required to work from Monday to Friday from 5am to 1:30pm.
This is an ongoing position with an immediate start whereby the candidate will with also have the opportunity to move into a full-time/permanent position with the company.
What you will need
- Experience in manufacturing environment and production experience
- Have experience with steel bending machinery (highly desirable)
- High Risk Forklift Licence (Mandatory)
- Mechanically minded and troubleshooting experience
- Proven work ethic and commitment to attendance
- Drivers Licence and car
