About Our Client
Our client is one of Australias largest privately owned steel manufacturers and distributors, established in 1994. Our client brings together leading steel companies, offering a broad range of products and services with a strong reputation for quality, innovation and exceptional customer service. They are looking to expand their team in Helensvale and looking for Machine operators/Production Workers to join their team.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Machine operators/Production Worker at the Helensvale depot, you will work on-site on the Gold Coast. This role requires full availability Monday to Friday starting at 12pm and working to 8.30PM Your duties will involve
- Operate steel processing and roll-forming machinery safely and efficiently
- Set up, monitor and adjust machinery during production runs
- Conduct quality checks on finished products
- Perform basic machine inspections, cleaning and routine maintenance
- Assist with material handling, packing and general production duties while maintaining a clean and safe work area and meeting daily production targets.
What You Will Need
- Previous machine operating, production or manufacturing experience
- Mechanically minded with the ability to learn machine setup, operation and basic troubleshooting
- Good attention to detail and ability to consistently produce work to quality specifications.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Forklift Licence and/or overhead/gantry crane (Highly Desirable)
- Drivers Licence and Reliable Transport
