About Our Client
The Maintenance Fitter will be responsible for carrying out all Fixed Plant maintenance activities across site quarry. This role is a great opportunity for a team player who thrives on fault finding and continuous improvement.
What You Will Be Doing
Conducting preventative and corrective maintenance on large scale fixed plant machinery and equipment
Identify and rectify defects through effective maintenance activities to ensure optimal functioning of plant equipment.
Review maintenance plans and reports to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Work with the Planning team to improve plant reliability
Identify business improvements and drive change
Small capital project work involving commissioning
Diagnosing issues using critical and logical thinking.
Equipment installation and fabrication.
Review maintenance plans and reports to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and adjust the scope of work responsibilities as needed.
Contribute to the development of maintenance systems, standards, processes, and procedures for standard work management.
Actively demonstrate and promote a high level of safety awareness and encourage safe work practice
Roster Available: Monday to Friday day shift only. Potential to transition to 8:6 day shift Role Located: Quarries, Orange Grove.
What You Will Need
Australian Recognised Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fitting
Previous experience in undertaking maintenance tasks on Crushers, Screens, conveyors, pumps and general Fixed Plant equipment.
Confined Space with Gas Testing (desirable)
Working at Heights (desirable)
Dogging and Rigging (desirable)
EWP (desirable)
Valid C Class- Manual Driver's Licence
