About Our Client

Our client operates low-cost, long-life mines in Australias Goldfields region, supported by a strong project pipeline to sustain mineral reserves and extend mine life. They are committed to responsible mining and to building strong partnerships with Indigenous Australian communities, with Native Title Agreements in place for the St Ives and Gruyere operations and ongoing negotiations across their broader portfolio.

What you will be Doing

We are seeking experienced Underground Maintenance Fitters to support a high-performing underground mining operation at the Granny Smith Mine. These roles will work across a rotating day and night roster, supporting a large fleet of underground production and ancillary equipment. You will be working on Epiroc Simba Long Haul, Epiroc MT65 underground mine trucks, Sandvik D421 Jumbos, Caterpillar 1700 and 2900 Loaders and/or Volvo IT120 auxiliary equipment.

Some duties may include but arent limited to:

• Perform scheduled and breakdown maintenance on underground mobile equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults across production and ancillary equipment
• Conduct inspections, servicing and component replacements
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with site safety standards and OEM specifications
• Complete maintenance documentation and reports

What you will need

• Current Drivers License
• Relevant Trade Qualification as a Diesel Fitter/Mobile Plant Mechanic
• Proven experience working on Underground mining equipment
• Experience with Epiroc, Sandvik, Caterpillar and Volvo underground equipment Desirable
