About Our Client
Our client started distributing carbon steel and steadily widened their portfolio to include plate processing, coil processing, stainless steel and engineering steels.Today the diversity of products they offer, and the geographic spread of their operations means they have become a key supplier to the Australasian economy. With 69 warehousing, manufacturing, and processing facilities throughout Australia and New Zealand. They are looking for a manufacturing labourer to join their team in Crestmead.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Manufacturing labourer, you will be required to work afternoon shift from1.00pm-9.30pm Monday Friday and 9.30am-3.30pm on Friday and will be responsible for the following duties;
- Operating machinery: coil machines, splitters and presses
- Tying up steel bundles off machines , prior to placement onto a vehicle
- Assist in removing product from conveyors, machines, tying and stacking bars
- Keeping a clean and tidy work space
What You Will Need
- Forklift License
- Physically fit for labour intensive tasks
- Experience in manufacturing, warehousing (highly desirable)
