About the Role
WorkPac are currently seeking a Manufacturing Production Worker to join a busy team based in Kewdale. This is a full-time Monday to Friday position on day shift, offering ongoing employment opportunities for the right candidate.
The role will involve operating a basic welding machine and assisting with general manufacturing and production duties within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate production machinery and assist with manufacturing processes
Place poles into an automated welding machine and remove completed products
Complete occasional hand welding tasks where required
Maintain workflow efficiency in line with production schedules
Follow company procedures, quality standards, and inspection processes
Adhere to workplace safety procedures and report hazards, incidents, or product variances
Assist with plant cleaning, shutdown procedures, and maintaining 5S standards
Support other departments as required depending on operational demands
Work collaboratively with Team Leaders, Supervisors, and fellow staff to achieve production targets
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment at all times
What You Will Need
Current Australian Drivers Licence
Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Proven reliability and low absenteeism in previous roles
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to perform repetitive and manual tasks
Demonstrated problem-solving ability
Own reliable transport
Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and team focus
