About Our Client
Our client is a leading provider of integrated services across Australia and New Zealand, specialising in the design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure including transport networks, utilities, and mining services. With a workforce of approximately 20,000 employees, they play a key role in supporting critical infrastructure for both government and private sector clients, helping to enhance communities and essential services.

Duties
As a Production Plant Operator, you will be working at the Asphalt Plant in Pinkenba.

Your duties will include

• Managing day-to-day operations involved in the manufacturing of blended bitumen products using a state-of-the-art blending plant
• Conducting material testing in a laboratory environment
• Performing basic plant and equipment maintenance
• Loading trucks using a forklift
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Assisting with general tasks within the plant facility

Shift Structure
Monday to Friday 6:00AM to 3:30PM
Occasional weekend work (approximately 510 Saturdays or Sundays as needed)

What is Required

• Drivers Licence
• Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques (required)
• Forklift Licence
• 35 years experience in materials testing or manufacturing (asphalt, emulsion, chemical, or heavy industrial environments preferred)
• Knowledge of laboratory-based material testing (desirable)
• Strong communication skills and ability to prioritise tasks
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
