About Our Client
Our client is a leading provider of integrated services across Australia and New Zealand, specialising in the design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure including transport networks, utilities, and mining services. Duties
As a Production Plant Operator, you will be working at the Asphalt Plant in Pinkenba.
Your duties will include
- Managing day-to-day operations involved in the manufacturing of blended bitumen products using a state-of-the-art blending plant
- Conducting material testing in a laboratory environment
- Performing basic plant and equipment maintenance
- Loading trucks using a forklift
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Assisting with general tasks within the plant facility
Shift Structure
Monday to Friday 6:00AM to 3:30PM
Occasional weekend work (approximately 510 Saturdays or Sundays as needed)
What is Required
- Drivers Licence
- Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques (required)
- Forklift Licence
- 35 years experience in materials testing or manufacturing (asphalt, emulsion, chemical, or heavy industrial environments preferred)
- Knowledge of laboratory-based material testing (desirable)
- Strong communication skills and ability to prioritise tasks
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
