About our Client
Our leading global mining and resource client is a leading producer of iron ore, copper, metallurgical coal, nickel and potash. As part of their Minerals Australia operation, you will have the opportunity to work onsite with one of the world's most significant deposits of copper, gold and uranium including underground and surface operations and operates a fully integrated processing facility from ore to metal.
About the Role
WorkPac is seeking a Materials Co-Ordinator to work for an immediate start at a major Mine site in South Australia. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting of project specific materials and operational spares for inventory into the business as a key aspect of Project delivery to the asset. The Materials Coordinator will apply technical expertise to solve problems with a focus on optimising delivery of materials to the customer.
What you will be doing
- This position will include Coordinating the receipt, storage, inspection, movement, and return of project materials
- Ensuring all packing standards of project materials are maintained
- Some construction supervision / coordination for racking installation
- Integrating with the existing warehouse teams
- Comply with all safety standards and procedures
What you will need
- Forklift Licence
- Previous experience in warehousing/logistics
- SAP experience
- Current Drivers Licence
