About the Client
Our client helps organizations reduce vendor complexity and establish a single point of purchase for their projects, specializing in supplying high-quality equipment and consumables tailored to your needs.
What You Will Be Doing
They are currently seeking a skilled mechanic to be based out of their Forest Glen warehouse working on new oil rigs and associated mechanical equipment . This is a long-term position, working from 7:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday, 7:00Am 3:00PM Friday and some weekend work may be required. Your duties will include;
- Rig builds, refurbishment, and mechanical assembly tasks
- Perform general mechanical labouring, including dismantling, cleaning, prepping, and refitting components
- Operate hand tools, power tools, lifting equipment, and workshop machinery safely and efficiently.
- Conduct parts cleaning, surface preparation, and basic finishing tasks
- Hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical installation work as directed
- Maintain a safe, organised, and clean workshop environment, including housekeeping
- duties.
What You Will Need
- Drivers Licence + reliable transport
- Previous experience in a mechanical, workshop, fabrication, or industrial environment.
- A strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical principles
- Be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
