About the Client

Our client is seeking suitably experienced and motivated Mechanical Fitters for casual workshop-based positions within a high-performing industrial maintenance environment. The team supports infrastructure, mining, and construction projects, offering consistent workflow and opportunities for skill development. This is a safety-focused workplace that values reliability, teamwork, and strong mechanical capability.

What you will be doing

As a Mechanical Fitter you will be responsible for the below duties:

• Carrying out workshop-based mechanical fitting and maintenance on infrastructure and mining equipment
• Performing pneumatic and hydraulic fitting and repair work
• Assembling, testing, and inspecting mechanical components in line with specifications
• Reading and interpreting CAD drawings, technical plans, and work instructions
• Ensuring all work meets required quality standards and adherence to safety procedures

What you will need

To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:

• Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter Certificate
• Construction White Card
• Current Drivers Licence
• Strong mechanical aptitude and maintenance fitting experience
• Ability to follow CAD plans and technical drawings
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
