20:8 roster
10 hour day and night shifts
WorkPac are currently seeking FIFO Mechanical Fitters on a 20:8 roster from Perth, working 10 hour day and night shifts. This role will involve working on pumps, gas turbines, compressors, and other critical rotating equipment within a project-based environment.

Our client is a proudly Western Australian owned and operated company delivering specialised mechanical services across the energy, mining, and construction sectors. They have built a strong reputation for providing high-quality installation, commissioning, and maintenance solutions for rotating equipment and critical infrastructure across major projects throughout Western Australia.
What you will be doing
Alignment and dress-out of gas turbines and compressors (axial, centrifugal, and reciprocating)
Installation, commissioning, and overhaul of pumps and rotating equipment
Precision alignment using laser alignment tools while working to OEM tolerances
Mechanical fitting tasks associated with rotating equipment and project work
Working within a team to safely complete maintenance and installation activities
Maintaining strong safety practices and adhering to site procedures
What you will need
Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fitting or relevant mechanical trade
Construction White/Blue Card
Working at Heights
High Risk Work Licence EWP
Current Australian Drivers Licence
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
Previous experience working in FIFO, mining, construction, or project environments
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening
Full working rights in Australia
