Mechanical Fitters Wanted!
About Our Client:
Our client is a global technology leader enabling seamless, sustainable, and secure transport, they deliver advanced rail solutions, including rolling stock, automation, electrification, turnkey systems, and digital infrastructure, to transform everyday mobility.
What You Will Be Doing:
In this Monday to Friday roster as a Mechanical Fitter you will be responsible for:
- Installing mechanical components like insulation, sidewall panels, seating, and luggage racks
- Building up and assembling units in passenger coaches, such as roofs, cable harnesses, mounted parts, and electrical racks
- Disassembling, modifying, reworking, and reassembling components as needed
- Working across a variety of mechanical components (locomotive) that are overhauled
What You Will Need:
As a collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, you will bring:
- Relevant Trade Certificate
- Forklift Ticket
- Current Drivers Licence
- Ability to pass pre-employment and Drug & Alcohol Checks
- Dedication to achieving shared goals and objectives
- High ethical standards and integrity in all aspects of your work
- A commitment to delivering exceptional work and exceeding expectations
