About Our Client

Our Client is a leading company specializing in the servicing, modification, and enhancement of caravans. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality services to our customers while maintaining a clean, safe, and friendly work environment. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Mechanical Trade Assistant to join our team in Jimboomba.

What You Will Be Doing

• Perform servicing on caravans, including bearings, brakes, shock absorbers, and bushes.

• Inspect all caravan components as per the service checklist, lubricate key locks, check gas bottles, and brake-safe batteries.

• Retro-fit composite toilets, air conditioners, water tanks, and other modifications as required.

• Modify bike racks, gas bottle holders, outdoor kitchens, and other caravan accessories.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area for both staff and customers.

• Opportunity for future welding training to assist in manufacturing slide-out kitchens for caravans.

Requirements

• Valid drivers license and reliable transport.

• Previous experience in completing or assisting with the tasks listed above.

• Physically fit and capable of performing labour-intensive tasks.

• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
