Trades Assistant (Mechanical)
- $37/hr + Penalties
- MonFri | 7:00am 3:00pm | 8-hour shifts

About Our Client
Our client is a reputable workshop specialising in the servicing and repair of diesel engines, pumps, and generators. They are known for their strong team environment and commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
What you will be doing
- Assisting tradespeople with servicing and repairs of diesel engines, pumps, and generators
- Supporting workshop operations including basic maintenance and installations
- Operating tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Assisting with occasional site work as required
- General workshop housekeeping and adherence to safety procedures
What you will need
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Trades Assistant or similar workshop role
- Exposure to diesel engines, pumps, or generators (highly regarded)
- Forklift Licence (LF)
- Welding/fabrication experience (advantageous)
- Current Drivers Licence
- Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol Screen and Occupational Noise (hearing) test
Whats in it for you?

- Consistent Monday to Friday hours
