About the Role:
Join our team as a Mine Surveyor on a part time (8 days on, 20 days off) FIFO roster from Perth. You'll work with the latest survey technologies, enjoy a supportive work environment, and have opportunities for career growth in mine surveying or other technical fields. Reporting to the Senior Surveyor, you will ensure that mine performance is assessed accurately and that our dynamic mine plan is supported with reliable data.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Provide quality and timely surveying services for operational and technical purposes
- Conduct as-constructed pick-ups using spatial data collectors (GPS, laser scanners, UAVs)
- Monitor pit wall and infrastructure deformation
- Ensure accurate survey data for informed decision-making on mine operations
- Align practices for positioning and measurement technologies
- Assist Mine Geologists, Production Engineers, and Mine Planners in assessing mine performance
- Support dynamic mine planning with reliable survey data
Skills & Experience Required:
- Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Surveying (or nearing completion)
- 2+ years of practical surveying experience in any field
- Strong ability to engage and collaborate with remote teams and diverse customers
- Valid C class drivers license
