About the Client
Our Client is a trusted automotive provider servicing Brisbanes Northside, recognised for delivering reliable, efficient and safe mechanical services directly to customer locations. They pride themselves on professionalism, strong customer communication, and maintaining long-term trusted relationships.
This is a permanent position based in Wollongong, with an immediate start available for the successful applicant.
What you will be doing
As a Mobile Mechanic you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Carry out service, repair and diagnostic work professionally and safely
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Ensure repairs or services are required and essential for safety and performance
- Complete inspections and identify additional repair needs
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers
- Prepare quotes, invoices and process payment on completion
- Document all customer approvals
- Follow all company payment procedures
- Maintain the company van in a clean, tidy and roadworthy condition
- Represent the company with professionalism and uphold its values
- May be required to mentor an Apprentice Mechanic
What you will need
To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:
- Trade Qualification/Certification and current Drivers Licence
- Experience with Toyota, Mazda, Hyundai, Kia and/or Mitsubishi (highly desirable)
- Ability to follow WHS policies and procedures
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, honest, and strong work ethic
- Able to manage workloads, meet deadlines and stay calm under pressure

- Weekly bonus system based on parts and labour profit (potential $10K$75K per annum)
- Customer re-booking incentives of $25$50 per booking
- Tool allowance of $20 per week, plus van, fuel, phone, tablet, uniform, customers, large tools and training provided
