About the Client
Our Client is a respected leader within the automotive industry, delivering high-quality mechanical services directly to customer's throughout Brisbanes Southside. They pride themselves on professionalism, customer care, and providing efficient, safe, and reliable vehicle servicing.
This is a permanent position based on Brisbanes Southside, offering an immediate start for the right candidate.
What you will be doing
As a Mobile Mechanic you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Perform service, repair and diagnostic work on customer vehicles in a safe and professional manner
- Work autonomously with limited day-to-day supervision
- Ensure repairs or services are required and necessary to maintain customer vehicle safety and performance
- Thoroughly inspect vehicles and identify additional repair requirement's
- Communicate respectfully and transparently with customer's about recommended work
- Prepare detailed quotes, invoices and collect payment upon job completion
- Ensure all customer agreement's and approvals are documented
- Follow company payment procedures and ensure invoices are signed
- Maintain the company van to a roadworthy and presentable standard
- Uphold company values, code of conduct, and promote positive relationships
- May be required to mentor an Apprentice Mechanic
What you will need
To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:
- Valid Trade Qualification/Certification and current Drivers Licence
- Experience with Toyota, Mazda, Hyundai, Kia and/or Mitsubishi (highly desirable)
- Ability to comply with workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliability, honesty and a positive attitude
- Ability to problem-solve, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and remain calm under pressure
Whats in it for you
- Weekly bonus system based on parts and labour profit (potential earnings from $10K to $75K per annum depending on performance)
- Re-booking incentives of $25$50 per customer booking
- Tool allowance of $20 per week, plus van, fuel, phone, tablet, uniform, customers, large tools, and training provided
