About the Role

 

WorkPac is currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Administration & Customer Service Officer to join a well-established industrial supplier. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career, with full training provided for the right candidate. Working as part of a supportive branch team, you will provide front-line customer service while assisting with a variety of administrative and trade counter duties to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the branch.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct enquiries to the appropriate team members.
  • Provide front-line customer service to both trade and retail customers.
  • Assist customers at the trade counter with product enquiries and order processing.
  • Enter and maintain accurate information within internal systems.
  • Raise purchase orders and process administrative documentation.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, product availability, and delivery timeframes.
  • Maintain customer records and filing systems.
  • Assist with inventory management, order tracking, and customer follow-up.
  • Provide general administrative support to the branch team.

 

Skills & Experience Required

 

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Good computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening (DAS).
  • Full working rights in Australia.
