- Location: Hunter Valley
- Monday - Friday with Rolling day off

About the Role
WorkPac are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as MPU (Mobile Processing Unit) Trainees in the Hunter Valley. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the mining industry, working with cutting-edge technology and contributing to the success of our operations.
What you will be doing
- Assist in the operation of Mobile Processing Units (MPU) for the delivery and loading of bulk explosives.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
- Support senior operators in the preparation and execution of blasting activities.
- Maintain accurate records of operations and materials used.
- Study a certificate III in surface extraction
What you need
- Basic mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
- driver's license (HR license preferred).
- Willing to obtain a NSW UHL licence
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Previous experience in the mining or construction industry is an advantage but not essential
- Right to work documents
- Able to pass a 043 Coal board medical & Drug Test
- Supply 2 work place references
