About Our Client

Our client is an Australian engineering, technology and manufacturing company that specialises in communications, power and automation solutions for the mining, construction and infrastructure sectors. They design, manufacture, install and maintain equipment such as communication trailers, communication masts, access control systems, mobile power solutions and autonomous vehicle technology used on remote and operational sites. They are currently seeking a qualified Boilermaker for a Permanent role, based out of their Carlise workshop.

What you will be doing

As a Boilermaker, you will be required to work Monday Friday, 6AM 2:30PM. Your main duties will include;

Perform light to medium fabrication work
Fabricate components from engineering drawings and specifications
Carry out MIG welding, cutting, grinding, fitting and assembly activities
Manufacture custom-designed equipment and fabricated products to a high standard
Read and interpret workshop drawings, measurements and technical instructions
Ensure all fabricated products meet quality requirements and tolerances
Conduct quality checks throughout fabrication and assembly processes
Maintain a safe and organised work environment
Work both independently and collaboratively within a fabrication team
Contribute to meeting production schedules and delivery deadlines

What You Need

Trade Qualification
Drivers licence & reliable transport
Able to work independently with little supervision
Good attention to detail
