About Our Client
Our leading global mining client is proud to be a leading Australian producer of premium quality hard coking coal for export steel markets within Central Queensland's Bowen Basin, with additional joint ventures in steel making coal, copper and manganese across Northwest Queensland and Western Australia. What you will be Doing
You will be working as a Multi-Skilled within the Production Department on a coal mine near Middlemount. In this role you will be operating Dump Trucks (Kom 830), Dozers (D10, D11), Graders (16-24M), Loaders and/or Watercarts. You will be working 12.5 hour shifts on a Wednesday to Tuesday rotating day and night roster. These roles are available to Residential, DIDO and BIBO (Yeppoon, Rockhampton & Mackay) candidates.
- Perform pre-start checks and routine maintenance to ensure equipment is in optimal condition
- Transport materials as directed by site supervisors while adhering to all safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly
Dump truck Operators with experience operating Komatsu 830, 930 or 960 Dump trucks are also encourages to apply!
What you will need
- Must hold current SSE signed skills list with experience operating Dump Trucks (Kom 830), Dozers (D10, D11), Graders (16-24M), Loaders and/or Watercarts within a coal mining environment
- You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.
- Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen
