Multi skilled operator / Quarry operator
- Mt Gambier
- Immediate start
- 12-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
- $46ph Flat Rate
About the Client:
Our client is a well-established, family-owned quarry and construction materials business operating in north-eastern Victoria. They are known for delivering high-quality aggregates, crushed rock, and specialty products, supporting both major infrastructure projects and local developments.
About the Role:
WorkPac is currently in search of Quarry Operators to join our esteemed client's team, based in Mt Gambier.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery such as excavators, dozers, graders, and loaders in a quarry setting.
- Perform general labouring duties around the quarry site.
- Load trucks, cart material, and manage stockpiles efficiently.
- Follow safety procedures and site protocols at all times.
Skills and Experience:
- Quarry machinery operation (excavator, dozer, grader, loader)
- Truck loading, carting material, and stockpile management -
- Competent in at least one core quarry skill; willing to train in others
- General labouring experience in quarry/construction
- Machine tickets desirable
