Trade Assistant / Operator
About Our Client
Our client is a leading organisation within the defence industry, delivering critical projects and supporting Australia's sovereign defence capability. Due to continued growth, they are seeking experienced Trade Assistants / Operators to join their team based in Adelaide's north-western suburbs.
About the Role
WorkPac is currently recruiting experienced Trade Assistants / Operators for opportunities with our high-profile defence client.
These roles offer the opportunity to work within a dynamic and safety-focused environment, supporting skilled trades and production teams on key defence projects.
Duties
- Assisting trades personnel with day-to-day operations
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Fault finding and testing of equipment and systems
- Operating forklifts and handling materials safely
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety
- Supporting production and maintenance activities as required
- Industrial Cleaning
Skills & Experience
To be successful, you will have:
- Current Forklift Licence (Preferred)
- Previous experience as a Trade Assistant or Operator
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
